So it's a new year and I did not make any resolution - we all know they're not kept anyway.
As much as I enjoy taking pictures, I'm really frustrated that I can't capture the 'feeling' that I was feeling about the subject; so, I started to read a digital photography book. It may help a little or a lot, but I hope that I can turn out better pictures and would then be able to capture the emotion I want to be imprinted within the picture.
Also, I'm quite having a prolonged hiatus from my blog, Whatever You Can Still Betray, since I have a lot of schoolwork to do - although I haven't done them yet. What? I'm still in vacation mode and I am so not in the mood.
One of the things I'm working on is my apparent laziness and procrastination. They say it's all about motivation but I say it's all about initiative on one's part. Nevertheless, I am working on eliminating these nasty habits as long as controlling my temper and patience when dealing with my grandmother.
And there's also the case of health and fitness. Truthfully, I was never bothered with my looks (except if I'm thinking about a guy) and the kids are too intimidated (by me) to tease me. However, one lesson that I learned from losing my mother was that: it is never too late to begin living a healthy life.
So, here's more, I mean, LOTS AND LOTS, of power to me this 2011.

Nothing but an update
As I wrote before, taking pictures is a hobby, one that is depends on moods and the scenery, for I'm more to take a picture without any people in them.
And now, well, I'm rather busy with my main passion which is reading books.
A year later.
Hahahaha.
A year from my last journal entry. Honestly, I forgot that there was a journal section in DA.
I still don't have a new camera. I borrowed the one I've been taking pictures with in the last year from my uncle. Just another point and shoot one. He doesn't seem to mind though. They were barely using it.
Still, I need a new one with better whatchamacallits. Yes, whatchamacallits since here is a girl who likes to take pictures occasionally of things she finds pretty.
LOL.
Devious Journal Entry
Here's some bad news:
MY CAMERA JUST TOOK THE PLUNGE INTO THE OCEAN.
It's summer here and I'm on vacation in my hometown. The beach is just a 15-minute walk from my house.
So, yesterday afternoon, the daughter of our housemaid and I went to the beach to just take a little dip. I was carrying a bag with all my paraphernalia there. It was one of those bags with no zippers.
We were walking over some water and rocks when I tilted my bag just so and... SPLASH! There went my camera, followed by my phone after.
I immediately took them to the repair shop. The phone was salvaged, the camera was not.
Darn.
So... I don't know if I could submit mo
